Preserves and Cordials

Home-made jams and jellies, chutneys, pickles and cordials are a great and frugal way to preserve the summer and autumn’s flower and fruit bounty long into the winter.  Home-made really is king in the world of preserves, and yours will always be better than anything you can buy in the shops.  And of course, they make great gifts.  So go on, give preserving a try!
